"Appropriate message" to Pakistan at "right time"

M.K. Narayanan

New Delhi: India will send an "appropriate message" at the "right time" to Pakistan on the recent terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir though the violence in the last two days will not affect the peace process, National Security Adviser M.K. Narayanan said on Tuesday.

Attempts to disrupt

"No, no it won't.These are attempts to disrupt it [the peace process], but we are not going to be cowed down by that kind of thing, we know how to deal with the situation," he told NDTV. Asked whether Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would visit Pakistan in June, Mr. Narayanan said no date was finalised. At least 35 persons were killed in terrorist attacks in the State in the last two days. — UNI
