Hero Honda April sales up

CHENNAI: Hero Honda sold 2.51 lakh units during April this year, out of which 2.44 lakh units came from motorcycles and 6,487 units came from scooters. The company has reported a growth of 6.34 per cent as compared to the corresponding month in the previous year. The cumulative sales for motorcycles for April-January stood at 9.98 lakh numbers, a growth of 8.37 per cent over the corresponding period in 2005. The cumulative motorcycle sales in the corresponding period were 9.21 lakh units.
