Tax-free dividend from Franklin Templeton

CHENNAI: Franklin Templeton Investments (India) has announced a tax-free dividend of Rs. 2.50 per unit on face value of Rs. 10 in its open-end balanced fund — FT India Balanced Fund, which was launched in December 1999. All investors registered in the dividend plan as on May 4 will receive this tax-free dividend, says a release.
