BEML achieves record turnover

BANGALORE: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML) has posted a record sales turnover of Rs. 860.14 crore for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2005-06 against Rs. 769.21 crore in the corresponding period last year. The profit before tax increased to Rs. 130.67 crore. The profit after tax was Rs. 86.12 crore. BEML recorded an 18.62 per cent growth in its annualised sales turnover at Rs. 2,201 crore against f Rs. 1,856 crore in the previous year
