Call to ex-servicemen

The Assistant Director of Ex-servicemen Welfare has called upon physically fit ex-servicemen to render their services during the election.

All ex-servicemen who had registered earlier and others interested should assemble at

at PRS Grounds on May 6 at 8 a.m. with their original discharge certificate from the defence forces and identity card. They should bring their defence uniform or khakhi shirt, according to a release.

Homam

Navachandiga Homam will be performed at Sri Akilandeshwari Amman Temple, Peelamedu, on May 12.

Aviation seminar

A two-day aviation seminar on "Nowcasting and Mesoscale Disturbances" at the Faculty of Meteorology, Air Force Administrative College (AFAC) was conducted here recently.

It was inaugurated by Air Vice Marshal, V.R. Iyer, Commandant of Air Warfare, Secunderabad. Air Commodore V.K. Dayalu, Commandant AFAC, also participated.
