Two employees suspended

HYDERABAD: The Government has suspended two employees -- Ch Satyanarayana, senior checking inspector of the Civil Supplies Department, and Venkateshwara Rao, Fisheries Development Officeron the charge of collecting bribes from people for issuing ration cards at DPL centre 20 at Sadatnagar of the Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency. Criminal cases are also being registered against them.

In a similar case, C. Venkatachalam, working as an Assistant Estate Officer in HUDA Urban Forestry wing was caught red handed accepting Rs. 1250 from a person to issue a white ration card.

Hyderabad District Collector has appealed to citizens to call 23201199 to lodge complaints against erring officers.
