DUBAI: Kuwaiti authorities on Tuesday hanged an Indian national for murdering his employer three years ago. Shakrullah Ansari, who hailed from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and was in his early twenties, was hanged at 11.30 a.m. IST. A local court had sentenced Ansari to death for killing his employer. The ruler of Kuwait rejected his mercy petition. Three years ago, Ansari reportedly complained to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait that he was being harassed by his employer. He alleged that his employer used to ill-treat him and did not give him food.
