Jailed for defrauding bank

HYDERABAD:
The Special Judge for CBI Cases, Hyderabad, has sentenced a businessman Laxman Kumar to undergo four-year rigorous imprisonment following his conviction in a cheating and criminal conspiracy case. Another accused, M.S. Nagarajan, former manager (advances) of IOB, Hyderabad, was already convicted 16 years ago, a press release said.
Owner of M/s Sinclair Laminates Kumar cheated RP Road and Mallapur branches of the IOB to the tune of Rs. 3.45 lakhs.
