KOCHI: The body of Siby P.K., of Saudi near Kannamali, who died in a mine blast on Iraq-Kuwait border will be brought to Kochi on Thursday. Siby died in the explosion on Monday evening.
NoRKA approached
His relatives have approached NoRKA officials in New Delhi for bringing the body to Kerala. They complained that no official communication was received regarding the death from Indian authorities. A colleague of Siby would accompany the body to Kochi, his relatives said.
Awaiting orders
District Collector A.P.M. Mohammed Hanish said the district administration was awaiting orders from the Ministry of External Affairs on the procedures to be taken on the issue. Government offices were closed on Monday on account of May Day.
