NEW DELHI: Delhi revived its hopes in the North Zone under-21 qualifier for the National championship, beating Haryana 2-0 in its second league match at the Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon on Wednesday. Having lost to Jammu & Kashmir 0-1, Delhi was on the backfoot in the group `A' league. But Prakash Nath (third minute) and D. J. Kabui (81st) ensured three points for Delhi, which needs to win against Uttaranchal on Saturday to secure a semifinal berth. Meanwhile, J & K and Uttaranchal played out a 1-1 draw and have four points each from two matches. Rajender Singh put J & K ahead in the 70th minute before Raman Singh (90th) restored parity. In group `B', Punjab demolished Himachal Pradesh 9-2, while Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh drew their opening league game 1-1. Sports Reporter
