KOCHI: Without raising much sweat, Tamil Nadu's Vinod Sridhar and Kamala Kannan, the top two seeds, posted identical wins and entered the men's singles semifinals of the KRL AITA all-India ranking tennis tournament at the Kochi Refineries Tennis Complex, Ambalamugal, on Wednesday. While Vinod brushed aside Statemate Ashwin Vijayarajan 6-1, 6-2, Kamala Kannan defeated Delhi's Murali 6-1, 6-2. The results: Singles quarterfinals: Vinod Sridhar (TN) bt Ashwin Vijayarajan (TN) 6-1, 6-2; P.G. Vignesh (AP) bt Dhruv Kumar (WB) 6-3, 6-2; Sukul Saurav (WB) bt Mohammed Fariz 6-4, 6-4; Kamala Kannan (TN) bt Nikhil Murali (Del) 6-1, 6-2.
