Liberty plans unit in Roorkee
NEW DELHI:
Leading footwear manufacturer Liberty on Thursday said it planned to invest Rs. 50 crore to set up a polyurethanes (PU) facility in Roorkee (Uttaranchal), which is expected to go on stream by the end of this year. "The `Liberty Polyurethanes', to be set up with an investment of Rs. 50 crore will be spread over 32,000 sq. m. The unit will manufacture special PU, which is used for boot soles and application products required for Indian market,'' Liberty Shoes Director, Anupam Bansal, said.
