Christian forum's appeal to voters

CHENNAI: Members of the Indian Christian Association of Tamil Nadu have passed a resolution requesting the people of Tamil Nadu, particularly minorities, SC, ST, and Backward classes "not to support the anti-minority AIADMK."

15-point programme

The United Progressive Alliance of which the DMK and the PMK are constituents had introduced a new 15-point programme for the minorities.

They had also claimed to have restored secularism, pluralism, tolerance and compassion, according to a release signed by Association president Ravi T.Santosham and S.D. Samuel, general secretary.
