VIRUDHUNAGAR: Indian Bank bagged the Arokya Trophy with a 79-58 win over Integral Coach Factory in the last match of the semifinal round-robin league in the men's section in the fourth annual State-level basketball tournament, here on Wednesday. Indian Bank emerged victorious with an all-win record and ICF finished runner-up. In the women's section, Southern Railway claimed the V.K.V. Nataraja Nadar memorial Trophy with a 50-17 victory over Rising Star BC (Chennai), its third win in the four-team league. Rising Star came second, SAI (Salem) third and All Star BC (Chennai) fourth.

BSNL in quarterfinals
At Tuticorin, BSNL (Chennai) entered the quarterfinals in the men's section defeating Nellai Youths Basketball Club (Tirunelveli) 60-42 in the Karunagaran memorial Trophy State-level basketball tournament, organised jointly by the TBA Club and Tuticorin District Basketball Association, on Thursday. Sukumar takes title
