KARIMNAGAR : Zilla Parishad Chairman K. V. Rajeshwara Rao has called upon the farming community to go in for other alternatives for agriculture for yielding more profits. Participating as chief guest at the Karimnagar division level rythu chaitanya sadassu organised at the Karimnagar agricultural research station here on Tuesday, he suggested the farmers to go in for other allied sectors of horticulture, animal husbandry, poultry units etc along with agriculture. Collector C. Parthasarathi said that the Government had sanctioned Rs. 3.26 crores to the farmers who lost their crops during the recent hailstorms and rains.
