Sindhia to meet leaders

Bangalore: The former Minister P.G.R. Sindhia, MLA, who is a member of the Consultative Committee to the Delimitation Commission, will be meeting MPs, legislators and leaders of political parties here on May 8 and 9 to finalise the State's stand on the delimitation of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies.

The commission headed by the former Supreme Court judge Kuldip Singh will be hearing the views of leaders from Karnataka on delimitation of constituencies at a meeting to be held in New Delhi on May 11.

Mr. Sindhia will hear the views of leaders from the Hyderabad Karnataka and Bombay Karnataka districts and Bellary on May 8 and those from the coastal districts, Kodagu and the Old Mysore districts on May 9.

The meetings will be held at the Legislators' Home here.
