Tamilnadu Telecom turns around

CHENNAI: Tamilnadu Telecommunications, a joint venture promoted by TCIL and TIDCO, Central and State PSUs, has made a smart turnaround in 2005-06 after three consecutive years of loss with a net profit of Rs. 2.06 crore against the net loss of Rs. 5.60 crore last fiscal. Total income increased by 46.15 per cent to Rs. 38.91 crore from Rs. 26.76 crore. TTL is currently expanding its capacity to realise the export business potential, says a release.
