H.D. Kumaraswamy
BELLARY: Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy is visiting Bellary district on Saturday and Sunday. He will inaugurate several development works and also lay foundation stones for new ones besides holding a "Janata Darshan". According to the itinerary released here, Mr. Kumaraswamy will reach Huvinahadagali by helicopter at 11 a.m. on Saturday and participate in a function at the BPG Pre-University College Grounds. He will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development works in that taluk. At 3 p.m., the Chief Minister will review the progress of the Singtalur Lift Irrigation Project being constructed across the Tungabhadra in Hadagali taluk. At 6 p.m., he will present the Karnataka Natak Academy Awards and then leave for Bellary for a night halt. On Sunday, Mr. Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the 110/33/11 kV sub-station at Kurgodu in Bellary taluk at 8.45 a.m. and return to Bellary to inaugurate a new bus stand, Dr B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, Golden Jubilee (Kuntegadda) Park and the shopping complex constructed with funds released under the Integrated Development of Small and Medium Towns (IDSMT). At 11.25 a.m., the Chief Minister will hold the "Janata Darshan" at the Municipal School Grounds here and receive petitions from the public. At 1 p.m., the Chief Minister will leave for Hubli by helicopter. Deputy Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa, Balchandra Jarkhiholi, B. Sriramulu, Sharanabasappa Darshanapur, N. Cheluvarayaswamy, Govind M. Karjol are among the Ministers who will accompany the Chief Minister during his visit.
