Deadline extended

NEW DELHI: The Government has extended from May 5 to 10 the last date for receiving suggestions from stakeholders on the draft Postal Bill. The draft Bill has attracted controversy as it seeks to give the Central Government the exclusive privilege of carrying letters weighing up to 300 gm. Private courier companies say the move will drive them out of business but the Government claims it is a step to legitimise the private business.
