Failure of students triggers attack on school
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
Angered over failure of their children in the SSC examination, some parents attacked the school of a tutor at Jagadgirigutta on Friday.
Kukatpally Inspector Radhakishan Rao said the tutor took classes for some 20 students assuring them 100 per cent result. "But not even one student got through the exam and this apparently irritated their parents," the Inspector explained.
Adding fuel to the fire, one of the students attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills. On learning this, parents and family members of some students raided the tutor's school at Papireddynagar in Jagadgirigutta, damaged the furniture and windowpanes. The police did not book any case since no complaint was received.
