The Hindu Mock CET toppers

Pre-counselling guidance session to be held in June

Bangalore: Vibha. A.P. has scored the maximum marks in the Mock CET (Common Entrance Test), organised by The Hindu EducationPlus at BVB Engineering College in Hubli on April 27.

The students who secured the top nine places in Hubli are M.R. Raveesh; Dharmesh D. Shanbhag; Sowmya Kulkarni; and Vinayak A. Kulkarni (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics); and Paramashree H. Hebbar; Shruti G. Raikar; Ajay Bhat; Kishore Bellary; and Harsha K. Kyalakond (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).

In Mangalore, Skanda Murthy scored the maximum marks. The top nine are Hemanth Kumar; Ajay Pai G; Vineeth Kumar; and Akshit (all PCM); Rahul N.S.; Pavan J; Venisha Rodrigues; Anusha M.A.; and Bhargava P. (PCB).

The scores of the other candidates will be made known to them over telephone.

The answer keys to the questions have been published in The Hindu EducationPlus on May 1.

The winners would be given prizes in June when The Hindu EducationPlus organises the pre-counselling guidance session for students aspiring to get into professional colleges.

The dates and the venues of the pre-counselling session would be made known soon in The Hindu .

Officials from the CET Cell and other experts will address students on the scope of various courses and the CET process. Registration for the session would be announced this month.

The guidance sessions would be held in Bangalore, Mangalore, Hubli and Gulbarga, before the actual CET counselling begins. The Hindu EducationPlus would be providing booklets to students participating in the session.

Booklets

The booklet would provide details about different subjects in the engineering and medical streams. It would also dwell on the status of CET and COMED-K, besides articles on soft-skill development. The articles would be written by various heads of engineering and medical institutions in Karnataka.
