Jewellery stolen

CHENNAI: Gold jewels weighing eight sovereigns and Rs. 40,000 cash were burgled from a house at Injambakkam on Friday.

The police said Parasuraman and his family members had gone out after locking their house at 6 p.m. When they returned in the night, they noticed one of the window grills removed from its place and the valuables burgled.
