Man murdered

BANGALORE: A 35-year-old man from Dayanand Nagar, who intervened in a fight between his friends and four others, was murdered near Navarang cinema in Rajajinagar police station limits on Sunday.

According to the police, Murugan, and his three friends came to the city in the morning after attending their friend's marriage on Saturday. All the four went to a bar to consume alcohol.

After they came out of the bar, Murugan's friends picked up a quarrel with four persons.

Murugan, who was near a shop, intervened to resolve the dispute.

However, he was stabbed in the chest. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died, the police said.
