Market information on mobile phones

Bangalore: Investors can now reduce query calls. The Live Market Watch Solutions has come as a breakthrough in the stock exchange market what with investors getting to access the Latest Traded Price (LTP) of the scrip live on their mobile phones.

According to Brijesh Patel, partner, Live Market, the SMS or the other mobile tickers are available for only a single scrip. But the latest solution provides the investor the National Stock Exchange (NSE) feed live on the mobile phone updated almost every second.

The user can create his own watch list which can be modified anytime or as many times as required. The solution focuses and targets the 70 lakh investors of the NSE.

Ganesh Yala, who developed the product, said that the company initially planned to come up with a separate gadget to provide real time market information for investment professionals. But taking into consideration the inconvenience of carrying two gadgets, a mobile phone and the stock ticker, the company decided to merge the facility to the mobile phones with GPRS subscription.
