CHENNAI: The Rajasthan Government has sought the help of Rabo India Finance Pvt. Ltd. RIF is expected to complete the assignment in six months, said a release from RIF. Rajesh Srivastava (Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking), RIF, and Vipin Chandra Sharma, Administrator, Rajasthan Agriculture Marketing Board, signed the agreement to this effect in Jaipur on May 4. RIF has been working with the Central and State governments in the recent past on policy and strategic development. Recently, it prepared a vision, strategy and action plan document for food processing industries in India for the Ministry of Food Processing Industry in addition to a detailed action plan for 10 states in India (including Rajasthan) under the National Horticulture Mission, commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture. RIF also worked with the National Co-operative Development Corporation (NCDC) in preparing a detailed project report for a state-of-the-art auction market in Kolkata.
