Sugarcane farmers' conference

MYSORE: Sugarcane farmers from South India will hold a conference here on May 23 and press for their demands, including a better remunerative price for their produce.

A preliminary meeting of sugarcane cultivators was held in the city on Tuesday. Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is likely to inaugurate the conference.
