Notification on GMOs kept in abeyance

CHENNAI: The Director-General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has, through a notification dated may 4, "kept in abeyance'' till July 7, the conditions relating to import of genetically modified food, feed, genetically modified organism (GMOs) and living modified organisms (LMOs) introduced in the amendment to the foreign trade policy notified earlier on April 7.
