GUNTUR: The PGS Nursing Home at Mangalagiri in Guntur district conducted a free bone health camp and examined bone mineral density for 135 patients. The bone mineral density (BMD) tests can identify osteoporosis, determine risk for fractures and monitor one's response to an osteoporosis treatment, said Girija, the camp doctor. The camp was inaugurated by Mangalagiri MLA Murugudu Hanumantha Rao., who appreciated the organizers for creating awareness among people on osteoporosis.
