Thiruvananthapuram: Elaborate arrangements have been made to inform the election results live to the public. Arrangements have also been made at the Media Centre at the Collectorate to pass on the results to the media. A projector and wide screen will be available here to display the results. The public and the media can also know the election results live from the website prepared by the National Informatics Centre (www.ceo.kerala.gov.in/trenddisplay) . Media can access the website trend.kerala.nic.in/trenddisplay. All counting centres are connected by broadband and hence the information given by returning officers will be immediately available on the website. These details will be displayed on wide screen at the media centre also. On the website, information on leads from various constituencies and the results will get updated automatically every few seconds. The name of the constituency, candidate who is leading, the number of votes, party, coalition, opposing candidate, number of votes, his/her party and coalition, lead would be available on the website. This is the first time that such a centralised arrangement is being made in the State for announcing election results.
