LONDON: Chelsea players Wayne Bridge and John Terry were involved in a nightclub brawl hours before being named in England's World Cup squad, reports said on Tuesday. Bridge had a minor cut and bruising on his head, and Terry pulled another man away from Chelsea striker Carlton Cole, who had been subjected to a racial insult, according to a report in the London Evening Standard. None of the players were arrested and Scotland Yard didn't name anyone involved. It said a man was injured but declined treatment, and a 34-year-old was arrested. According to the daily, the incident happened early on Monday at a private party involving several Premier League players at the trendy Embassy Club in London. AP
