Applications will be available from month-end

CHENNAI: The Justice S.S. Subramani Committee which gave its order on the mode of admission to management quota seats in private engineering colleges said the consortium's call for applications should be made available in a website and given maximum publicity. The applications should be available from May 30 to July 1.

Rank list

The rank list would be prepared as per the Tamil Nadu government norms (200 marks for the relevant subjects in Plus Two and 100 marks for the CET).

No students' admission should be made after August 10; the admitted candidates list would be given to the Commissioner of Technical Education within two weeks after that.

The common application form should be printed in triplicate with a serial number. Candidates should send one copy to the consortium, one to the Permanent Committee and another to the DTE. There should be no deviation from the above procedure.

Any candidate who fails to follow this procedure will not be admitted to the course. The candidates should send the form by registered post acknowledgement due and not in any other manner.

The examination fee would be Rs. 1,000 per candidate.

The Commissioner for Technical Education should give due publicity to these orders, and see that the orders of the committee were fully implemented.
