Caught in ACB net

VIZIANAGARAM: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught P. Venkateswara Rao, Deputy Executive Engineer of AP Vaidya Vidhana Parishad here, while accepting a bribe of Rs.30,000 on Tuesday.

ACB DSP P. Madhusudhana Rao said that Rao was caught red-handed late in the evening while taking the amount as first instalment after demanding Rs.1 lakh to clear the bills for contractors. The works were completed at Araku, Nakkapalli and Narsipatnam in Visakhapatnam district.
