Kakinada : Arrangements for Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's brief visit to East Godavari district on May 12 were reviewed at a meeting held at the Collectorate on Tuesday. In-charge Collector M. Dana Kishore, while addressing officials, said the Chief Minister would arrive at Atreyapuram at 9.30 a.m. and distribute loans to beneficiaries under the Indiramma scheme at a public meeting. He will also lay the foundation stone for Rs.6.30-crore protected water supply scheme.
Gram sabha
Later, Dr. Reddy would hold a gram sabha and distribute pensions. The in-charge Collector asked officials to set up departmental stalls displaying development and welfare schemes at the exhibition planned at the venue of the public meeting.
Directive to officials
He directed the Zilla Parishad CEO and the Special Officer, Atreyapuram mandal, to formulate a detailed report on the implementation of Indiramma scheme for presenting to the Chief Minister. District Revenue Officer M. Suryanarayana, DRDA Project Director Ch. Kumaraswamy, Amalapuram RDO Kadalaiah, APTransco SE Subbarao and others attended the meeting.
