MAHABUBNAGAR: Chief Minister Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy announced that Bheema Lift Irrigation Project (BLIP)in the district would be completed within two years while the rest of the ongoing irrigation projects at Kalwakurhty,Nettumpad and Koilsagar would be completed in another three years. He said that State Government would spend Rs. 6500 crores for completion of all the four pending projects in the district. The Chief Minister was addressing Indirama programme at Bijinappaly village on Tuesday. He said that Mahabubnagar district would turn into another coastal Andhra district where agriculture sector flourish with abundant irrigation facility.
