Accused in murder case stabbed to death
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
A real estate broker V. Laxman was stabbed to death allegedly by his opponents in what is believed to be a vengeance killing at Pahadisharieff on city fringes on Monday.
Laxman left his sister's house in Domalguda on Monday around 11 a.m. after receiving a call on his mobile along with five persons who came in a car.
"His body, with injuries inflicted with broken beer bottles, was found lying beneath some tamarind trees off the Tukkuguda-Imamguda main road on Monday," Pahadisharif Inspector T. Srinivas Reddy said.
While those who committed the crime were yet to be identified, the police believe Laxman was lured to the secluded place on the pretext of brokering a land deal.
Marks at the scene of offence suggested that killers threw chilli powder on him before attacking him.
