Moddu Sreenu grilled

HYDERABAD:
The Hayathnagar police on Tuesday grilled Moddu Sreenu, one of the accused in MLA Paritala Ravindra's murder case, after taking him into custody for one day.
Sreenu was also the prime accused in the killing of a surrendered naxalite Venkat Reddy reported at Hayathnagar in December 2004.
Sreenu had been eluding the police since then and was caught after sustaining injuries when the booby trap he was preparing went off in a lodge at Chandanagar a few months ago.
He was sent back to the Cherlapally jail after questioning. "We have to clarify a couple of points with him in connection with Venkat Reddy's murder," Saroornagar ACP Jaganmohan Reddy said.
