Export of specific chrome ore canalised

CHENNAI: The Commerce Ministry has, through a notification dated May 9, canalised the export of "beneficiated chrome ore fines/concentrates (maximum feed grade to be less than 42 per cent Cr. 203)'' through MMTC Ltd. This item, under HS Code 26100030 and 16100040, has so far been exportable without restriction.

Through another notification, the Government has deleted the following from the list of DAP manufacturers who can export their own manufactures subject to the prescribed conditions: Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers, EID Parry, Coromandel Fertilisers, Deepak Fertilisers and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertiliser Co Ltd.
