New Rajya Sabha members take oath

NEW DELHI: Seven new members including Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao took oath in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The other Members are Syed Azeez Pasha (Communist Party of India), K. Keshava Rao (Congress), M. Venakata Mysura Reddy (Telugu Desam Party), Virendra Bhatia and Mahendra Mohan (both Samajwadi Party) and Ramdas Agarwal (Bharatiya Janata Party). Welcoming them, Chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat hoped their contributions in the House would strengthen democracy.
