HYDERABAD: Arrangements for the first-ever plenary of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on May 14 are in full swing at the Lal Bahadur Stadium here. Although the APCC initially planned to invite 50,000 party leaders to attend the daylong session, it later modified it to 10,000 due to the heat. The ruling party is treating this as a prestigious event as it marks the completion of the two-year rule of the Congress Government headed by Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. APCC president K. Keshava Rao, when contacted, said the party would rededicate itself to the people on the occasion. Expressing happiness that the Congress Government had not deviated from the election manifesto, he said the party's primary concerns rural economy and irrigation and welfare measures were being fully addressed
