Gift mangoes across the globe

Bangalore: TNT has launched "TNT Mango Bytes", a service through which ripe Alphonso mangoes of premium quality can be sent to 19 cities in India and 34 other countries. The service saves customers the hassles of procuring mangoes and packing and shipping them to destinations. TNT India Managing Director Abhik Mitra said: "After an overwhelming response last year, we bring back the TNT Mango Bytes."

Airtel scheme

Airtel, mobile services provider, on Wednesday introduced "Easy Lifetime Pre-paid", by which customers can go in for a permanent cellphone connection by paying 12 monthly instalments of Rs. 99 each. Airtel is the first service provider to introduce the scheme. Sanjay Kapoor, Joint President (Mobility), Bharti Airtel Ltd., said: "When Airtel introduced Lifetime Pre-paid last year, it marked the beginning of unprecedented growth in mobile telephony in the country. Now, with Easy Lifetime Pre-paid, we propose to take customer convenience and affordability to a new level."

Advertisement campaign

Pizza Corner India, part of Global Franchise Architects (GFA), which has launched Conizza, or pizza in a cone, plans to launch a Rs. 3-crore advertisement campaign on television.
