BANGALORE: The results of the SSLC examination held in March 2006 will be announced at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. Details will be available on the website of the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board the same night. Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Basavaraj Horatti told presspersons here on Wednesday that the results would be available in all centres by 11 a.m. the next morning. Asked about the reasons for the delay in the announcement of results by three days (the Minister had announced that the results would be announced on May 10), Mr. Horatti said that there were some technical problems in printing the result sheets. In the light of what had happened earlier, the board was keen to ensure that students and parents were spared any anxiety and confusion in knowing the results on time. He said the Pre-University Board was all set to announce the results of the pre-university examination conducted in March-April 2006 at 4.30 p.m. on May 15.
