KOCHI: The Kerala Civil Supplies Corporation Limited has opened a consumer information centre at the Corporation's office in the city. A press release said here on Thursday that a facility would be put in place for consumers to test the food samples they bring. Spices, cereals, oil, fruits and vegetables can be tested at the facility. Initially, ward committees or residential associations in Panampilly Nagar, Palarivattam, Kaloor, Fort Kochi, Palluruthy, Vyttila and Petta can collect samples and submit them for tests. Supplyco will bear the cost of the tests, said the press release. More information can be had on the phone 2205165 or 9447975206.
