Zicom's security solutions for homes

NEW DELHI: Zicom Electronic Security Systems on Thursday announced its foray into the consumer market, eyeing a 40 per cent market share of the home segment, which is slated to touch Rs. 700 crore by 2009. It plans to set up a manufacturing base in India for which it has selected a site in Himachal Pradesh even as it will invest Rs. 30-35 crore to establish a distribution network in 24 cities in a year, Zicom Managing Director, Pramod Rao, informed mediapersons on Thursday.
