PONDICHERRY: A Bill to rename Pondicherry as Puducherri will be soon introduced in the Parliament. It is reliably learnt that Home Ministry has prepared a note regarding renaming, and had sent it for Cabinet approval two months ago. "And the bill would be introduced either in the current session or during the monsoon session," M Ramadass, MP told The Hindu over the phone from New Delhi.
