Reliance raises petrol prices

NEW DELHI: Reliance Industries Ltd. on Thursday raised the petrol price by Rs. 2.50 to Rs. 2.92 a litre. "Reliance has raised its ex-depot price of petrol by Rs. 2 a litre. After adding taxes and other levies, the effective increase would be between Rs. 2.50 and Rs. 2.92 a litre,'' said an industry source.
