IRDA panel on redressal systems

NEW DELHI: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has constituted a committee to look into the existing grievance redressal systems in public sector undertakings and formulate guidelines for adoption by the insurers and suggest modifications to the regulations for protection of policyholders' interests. The committee members include Vepa Kamesam, Managing Director, IIRM, Chairman, and H. C. Jain, Executive Director, LIC of India
