`Priority for water supply'

Proposal to construct 30,000 houses for the poor, says Kadapa Mayor

  • Individual sanitary latrines were being sanctioned to all the applicants as public
  • Special schemes for the uplift of minorities

    KADAPA: Augmentation of drinking water supply, grant of pensions and housing are being accorded priority under Praja Patham, Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy said on Thursday.

    Mr. Reddy went round the 26, 36, 43 and 45 municipal divisions on Thursday. Efforts were on to supply drinking water in every civic division on a warfooting to mitigate hardships of people who had to fetch drinking water from some distance in erstwhile municipality, he said.
