NEW DELHI: K. Sasikiran threw away an advantageous position and battled to hold Russia's Vladimir Malakhov in a 118-move fourth round game at the Bosnia-Sarajevo 2006 Grandmaster chess tournament at Sarajevo on Wednesday. The draw kept Sasikiran at the bottom of the six-player table with one point. The other two boards also witnessed draws. The results (fourth round): K. Sasikiran (Ind, 1) drew with Vladimir Malakhov (Rus, 2.5); Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu (Rom, 2.5) drew with Borki Predojevic (Bih, 2.5); Magnus Carlsen (Nor, 2) drew with Arkadij Naiditsch (Ger, 1.5).
