BANGALORE: Weather played spoilsport in the Kenesis-AITA Talent Series tennis tourney here on Thursday as overnight rains and heavy showers in the afternoon marred the proceedings. The boys' U-14 singles final between local lad Rashien Samuel and S. Siddarth was a non-starter. As Samuel expressed his inability to play the tie on Friday, the players agreed to share the title. In the girls' U-14 singles final, S. Soujanya took the first set 6-3 against Shree Sanjana before play was curtailed. The match will be completed on Friday. However, the organisers were able to complete the finals in the U-12 section. In the boys' singles final, Abdul Hameed defeated Rishab Agarwal 10-3 while S. Sanjana claimed the girls' title with a 10-5 victory over S.P. Ritu. The results: Boys: U-12: Singles (final): Abdul Hameed bt Rishab Agarwal 10-3. Girls: U-12 Singles (final): S. Sanjana bt S.P.
