HYDERABAD: Satyam Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Satyam Computer Services, will host an exhibition of cartoons on HIV/AIDS at ICCR Art Gallery, Kala Bhavan, on May 12. The exhibition comes in the light of the month-long national-level cartoon contest conducted by the foundation in association with Indiaink.org. The competition received 586 entries from all over the country. In the first tier, 100 cartoons were selected by a jury of people living with HIV/AIDS, senior journalist, experts from public health organisations and others. The final jury comprising eminent cartoonist Keshav, Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society project director K. Damayanti and HEROES project Hyderabad coordinator Mondira Jaisimha selected the final winners.
Top 10 winners
They are: K. Raja Babu, B. Venkat, Sarasi Ramanarasimham, Mrityunjaya, Lanka Prasad, M. Venkateswara Rao, B.S. Raju, Karunakar Yenikapati, Dr. Satish Sringeri and Gopal Sarkar, according to a press release.
